Qualifications:
-Advanced knowledge of IT engineering design practices and industry-standard trends.
- Ability to work with others in order to achieve a common goal, resolve conflicts and manage cross-functional and external relationships; ability to negotiate and influence without direct authority. - Displayed leadership skills as exemplified by contributing to a positive work environment, helping to instill a 'sense of urgency' and to motivate others.
- Advanced ability to solve problems by considering available information, prioritizing and making timely decisions; correlate data using standard business and technology tools and approaches, spot trends and apply sound security and risk management principles.
- Experience in generating and presenting written and oral communications with all levels of stakeholders from various cross-functional and support staff to senior level executives.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts in lay or business terms.
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree, with a major in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience equal to 1 -3 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years professional experience in the area of Information Systems,
2+ years experience in at least 2 of the following IT areas: Networking, Systems Engineering, Applications, Engineering, Security, Database Design and Implementation.
Experience with leading small IT projects; and/or installation of network or Systems installations.
Responsibilities:
IT Engineer focused on the providing design engineering services in support of small to moderately sized IT projects. Additionally, will provide design engineering support to Senior Design Engineers on sub-system components of large/complex projects.
