Description

Develop and package software deployment objects utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. Follow industry best practices for deployment in the corporate desktop computing environment. Test all parameters for software, upgrades, and patches to be deployed at all local and remote locations including virtual environments. Provide software support expertise for installed software. Provide support and direction to IT support personnel related to software installation process and procedure. Maintain the software repository. Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned. Reports to Software Support Leader.

SKILLS:

3-5+ years experience in the following is required:
  • Analyzing and resolving software related issues/problems.
  • Utilizing troubleshooting skills and problem solving techniques.
  • "Hands on" Windows 7 operating system experience, including managing software upgrades and new products.
  • Technical communication & documentation
  • Experience with electronic unattended software deployment and development of application objects.
  • Packaging and deployment experience with Microsoft SCCM

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Admin Studio (Flexera)
