Description
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to work for our investment banking client in Zurich.
The department within the bank for the Client Data Confidentiality (CDC) program is looking for a senior Java developer with XML & XSLT experience to drive forward the remediation of several applications in the IB FXMM space.
Skills: Senior Java and XSLT developer:
- Must have at least 5 years of commercial software development experience on enterprise applications
- Strong background in Java J2SE
- Experience with XML XSLT 1.0 or 2.0 & other XML technologies such as JaxB.
- Experience in using message oriented Middleware with Java JMS, IBM WebSphere MQ Series or Tibco EMS
- Java Swing considered a plus
- Commercial software development in C++ considered a plus
- Domain knowledge of FX trading considered a plus
- Must be self-motivated and proactive
- Good command of spoken and written English
Key responsibilities will include review & refinement of CDC designs, implementation of the designs inside of the target applications, mentoring of other developers on the projects, project & delivery management.
The successful candidate will be delivery focused and a good communicator with all stakeholders working in a diverse environment which will include communication with FX IT, business users on both the wealth management and IB side and within the core CDC remediation program.
