Description
Our long term Telecommunications (wholesale) partner is seeking an Oracle DBA who can start within two weeks on a 6 month contract basis. There is a strong likelihood this will move into a permanent position.
You must have Australian Telecommunications experience and the following:
You will be required to maintain database standards including backup and recovery procedures as well as provision of operation support services delivered by the DBA Team.
Successful Candidates will have:
- 5+ years Oracle DBA experience
- Proven experience delivering technical solutions.
- Database back up and restores.
- Oracle 10g / 11g experience on both UNIX and Windows platforms
- Exposure to performance tuning with SQL
- Telecoms Background
- Billing platform experience will be a distinct advantage.
- IT Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
This is a contract role based in Sydney CBD with excellent rates on offer as well.
