We are looking for a highly skilled freelance motion producer with experience managing broadcast, live action, visual effects and CG projects.

Overview:

The motion producer is a key player in helping in the growth and evolution of Discovery’s in house Agency based in Los Angeles. You need to have strong communication skills, organization, and incredible attention to detail. We will look to you to manage all facets of our motion projects in concert with our larger brand teams in the east coast. You will be expected to have the right people in the right place at the right time to allow us to produce great creative work—on time, on budget [or under] and as efficiently as possible with a team and client that are all stoked on our work.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage complex project and production schedules.

  • Work closely with Account and Creative teams to facilitate communications, manage workflow and ensure successful and timely delivery.

  • Work with our various teams to ensure a unified brand vision that matches our capabilities and budgets.

  • Interface with clients on project status.

  • Manage resources and project budgets.

  • Forecast resource needs and allocations.

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Strong understanding of 2D, 3D and Live Action pipelines.

  • Create project plans, identify critical path and dependencies.

  • Define project requirements, and determine creative needs.

  • Author statements of work.

  • Estimate level of effort for creative development as well as production.

  • Bring technology innovation and a creative perspective to the production/execution of projects.
