Description
My client is looking for an embedded software engineer to join the team and assist them on a new project. The project is an exciting one in which they are looking to use it as a means of growth and expansion into new markets.The company are also well known within Computer Futures for their treatment of contractors. We have had many contractors come back after a role within the company pleased with not only the project but the team spirit and day to day working operations.
Key Skills Required:
* Embedded C/C++
* FPGA
* Microcontrollers (PIC family)
* CAN protocol
* UART
Advantageous Skills:
* PC application development (VC++/ C#)
* Experience with Altera Nios softcore FPGAs
* Experience with Micro C IO52

This is an exciting prospect to get involved in the full lifecycle of a project. Although it is an initial 3 month contract there is a definate chance this will extend beyond that point.
