MadCap Flare Consultant/Technical Author
Our leading software and technology client is looking for an experienced MadCap Flare consultant/technical author for the initially the preliminary phase of prototyping and trial running their MadCap Flare system. You will be identifying the process and system changes required, prior to the actual conversion to MadCap Flare and the integration of MadCap Flare with the companies product set. This is an initial one month contract with a possible extension.
You will be:
- Reviewing existing unstructured FrameMaker and MadCap Flare documentation (online help and technical manuals).
- Trialling the conversion of some FrameMaker source files.
- Verifying that the MadCap Flare output is compatible with existing products.
- Trialling the implementation and configuration of MadCap Contributor.
- Provide high level training on MadCap Contributor.
- Coming up with system processes.
- Provide information on the migration approach, risks, costs, and resource requirements.
