Description
SAP Business Objects Data Services Consultant required to design, build and test the data migration routines within Business Objects Data Services ETL software as part of a large a large database migration project.Suitable candidates will have at least two years BusinessObjects Data Services with specific experience dealing with high volumes of data and working with high volumes of OLTP transactional systems. Experience of the IBM DB2 RDBMS would be useful.
This role sits within a large gaming and gambling organisation and will focus on the following major tasks
Performance tune the routines, looking at transforms in memory vs. DB, optimisations / issues / advantages of using the bulk loader, etc.
Create a number of test environments and the data services routines to run in these
Support the test team with fixes / explanation of the routines a Business Objects Data Services Consultant on a contractual basis with an immediate start. The position plays an important role on a large database migration project currently under way.
