Description
Real Staffing is seeking a talented Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure delivery of quality parts, materials and services for existing products of a Sunnyvale Medical Device company.Your role:
You will be working with external suppliers to bring high class components to existing products. Communicating supplier-related problems as they occur and development of an auditing schedule to ensure designated suppliers are audited while following quality standards. Using Lean/ 6 Sigma to develop world class suppliers. Finally, you will be evaluating internal function and assessing their overall performance.
Requirements:
- 5+yrs hands on engineering experience from a mechanical standpoint
- Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
- Hands on auditing and problem solving skills
- Understanding of Quality Standards- GMP, ISO 13485
- Able to Travel minimum 50% of the time
- Fantastic technical communication and interpersonal skills
- 6 Sigma Certifications are desired
