WebSphere MQ Programmer with DataPowerThe position is for an IBM middleware specialist whose core tasks will be to provide design consultancy, design documentation and pre-release installation support.

Our client is a market leading technology giant with a global presence. They require a developer to successfully design applications and solutions within the IBM WebSphere set along with DataPower. Working with PMs, Architects and support teams (such as the Ab Initio Integration team), the consultant will deploy code into production after analysing existing estate and detailing new designs for MQ development and assisting with works in progress.
Candidates need to be specialised in IBM middleware, in particular:
Ability to differentiate between the various client/server application models and communication patterns
WAS/JMS programming
MQ clustering and Publish/Subscribe functions
Multi-platform administration skills
DataPower development with WSP and MPGW
Various protocols such as MQ and HTTP
DataPower crypto configuration
DataPower CLI, XMI and scripted updates / deployments
Candidates with Agile development knowledge, DB2 development experience and / or certification in WebSphere solutions design will be at an advantage.
