I am currently looking for a Finance Manager for a poistion within the financial services. Our client is an extremely prestigeous financial institution and they are looking for only the most high quality candidates with recent experience within the financial services.The successful Finance Manager will get heavily involved in head office financial accounting, IFRS, cost control, managing internal and external audit relationships, cash flow forecasting, implement and maintain all financial control, processes and procedures and management of a team of 8 accountants. This role will involve being a technical accounting expert for the group under IFRS, there will also be lots of scope to implement change and drive improvements. This is very much a technical accounting role however given the exposure it would also suit a confident communicator who enjoys supporting non-finance and presenting results. It is essential that this individual is a charted accountant with a strong academic background.
Required skills and experience:
* Minimum of 5 years experience within a accounting and finance management (Finance Manager roles/ or progressing towards a finance manager position)
* Degree in maths based subject
* Strong analytical skills
* Fluent English language skills
* Strong IT skills including MS Excel
* Ability to work lead a team and work autonomously
