Description
My global client based in Belgium are currently looking for a Senior Storage Specialist to join their team in Brussels on an initial 1 month contract but extensions are common.
This role includes a wide-variety of activities, starting from initial setup and installation to Level 4 support.
You must have fluent English and a good knowledge of Dutch and or French would be an added bonus.
The Technical skills needed for this position are,
- Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM)
- Experience in maintaining and problem solving on TSM Servers
- IBM's Enterprise Storage Subsystems
- Experience with DS8000, DS6000, DS and SAN Volume Controller (SVC)
- Good knowledge in LUN assignments, LUN mapping and masking
- SAN (Brocade 48000, DCX)
- experience with SAN fabrics, preferably with Brocade products
- experience with SAN zoning and port configurations
- Excellent knowledge about AIX (network, LVM skills, ...), advanced Linux Skills
- In depth knowledge of Netapp
- Advanced knowledge of XIV

- Being a team player
- Fluent in English, both writing and speaking. Good knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
