The Production support candidate will be responsible for providing margining and settlement services to cleared Derivatives clients, ensuring the mitigation of counterparty risk on a daily basis.

This individual will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise in OTC clearing (CDS, IRS, and NDF) and identifying efficiencies within our post-trade execution processes, including making recommendations based on industry best-practices primarily targeting client services, funding, risk mitigation, controls and reducing volume sensitivity. The candidate must be able to foster strong relationships with clients, the Front Office, Technology and other key internal groups that regularly interact with the department. The applicant must be able to filter and synthesize detailed information, as well as understand system processes and workflow for trading activity on multiple Derivatives clearing organizations.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the single operations point of contact for cleared Derivatives clients.
* Ensure daily margin settlements are processed and met in a timely manner.
* Perform daily client trade break resolution in a timely and accurate manner.
* Perform deficit and aging reporting of daily margin calls for cleared Derivatives.
* Perform user acceptance testing for new clearing initiatives, including CDS and NDF.
* Manage day-to-day external/internal relationships as they relate to Derivatives Clearing Services.
* Recommend process improvements, efficiencies and cost saving initiatives that will enhance the performance of the group.
* Responsible for documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures for the Client Service team.
* Perform other ad hoc projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
* 5+ years capital markets industry experience.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
Minimum Qualifications
* 3+ years Client Services experience within the banking industry, with specific experience in Derivatives Collateral Management or Exchange Traded Derivatives.
* Cross-product knowledge of derivatives (IRS, CDS, NDF, Exchange Traded Futures and Options)
* Advanced knowledge of GMI and Microsoft applications, including Access and Excel.
* Working knowledge of ISDA and Client Futures and Swaps Agreements.
* Understanding of CFTC regulations regarding protection of customer funds.
* Ability to demonstrate effective communication, client services, problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Well-organized, with the ability to prioritize within a multi-project environment and proactively meet aggressive deadlines.
