This is an opportunity to join an innovative and forward-thinking pharmaceutical company in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Statistical Programming group is highly intellectual and provides a challenging and stimulating atmosphere for all group members.

The Sr. Statistical Programmer is responsible for developing and implementing SAS programs to efficiently produce descriptive and statistical analyses, summary tables, data listings and graphics. The Sr. Statistical Programmer typically works on complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors, exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results, and may determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other lower level personnel.

Position Details:

- Serve as lead programmer and use professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways for one or more clinical studies.

- Review and help develop documents related to study (Case Report Forms, Database Specifications, Statistical Analysis Plans, TLF specifications, etc).

- Define analysis dataset specification and ensure that specifications are met.

- Development of data definition tables based on analysis dataset specifications and company standards and policies.

- Work with support programming team to program analysis datasets, listings, tables and figures according to specifications.

Position Requirements:

- 7+ years of SAS programming with 4 years of clinical trial experience.

- B.S. in computer science, statistics, biology, or other relevant scientific area.

- Strong communication skills in verbal and written English.

- Exceptional knowledge of CDISC procedures and standards.

This a solely permanent and onsite position.
