This market leading Medical Device company which designs, develops and manufactures their own products as well as providing contract engineering and contract manufacturing services is currently experiencing rapid growth and is looking to kick start a number of exciting new product development projects.The company is looking to hire a strong Electronic Systems Design Engineer to join their high caliber team to undertake full project lifecycle tasks and responsibilities including:
- Design to Specification
- Hardware / Software Design
- Development, Debugging, troubleshooting
- Production design of PC based and embedded systems
The projects will be 'from scratch' projects which will afford the successful candidate the ability to get involved will all aspects of the project from conception to completion.
Candidates for this position must have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years experience in hardware and software design of microprocessor and embedded systems deign including analog interface, acquisition and digital design
- Design of Microchip and ARM 8-32 bit processor systems
- C and Visual Basic Programming
- Application and programming of programmable logic devices
- Firmware Development
- Knowledge and Implementation of RS-232 and USB Standard Protocols and Interfaces
- Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and Multi-threaded applications
