Description
Oracle / Java Developer - Banking - London - Up to £500pdOur Client, a T1 investment bank, are currently looking for a Oracle Developer to work in their London Office, on a long-term (12 month) contract basis.
The successful candidate will join a database focused team and be tasked with migrating between Sybase and Oracle. The team already has members with significant Sybase knowledge and thus an Oracle heavy skill-set is required.
Essential Skills:
- Extensive Oracle experience including performance tuning (possible DBA background)
- Core Java knowledge
- Extensive Unix experience
- Working knowledge of financial products
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills:
- Actimize skills (specifically AIS / RCM)
