UX Designer - Cheshire

Description

Our client is looking for a Senior UX Designer for a 6 month contract starting ASAP to be responsible for leading the creation of a first class user experience on their sites. They will work closely with other members of the business to help them innovate, and be able to draw together those innovations into industry leading designs. MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS: •Creating excellent customer orientated design and validating decisions via user testing or other appropriate methods •Creating mockups and designs based on customer and business requirements •To assist their site in becoming a leading responsive site in its area •Producing detailed wireframes •Making ongoing design decisions based on best practice, test outcomes throughout the lifecycle of a project •The delivery of the user experience on the new site •High quality designs and mockups using the existing brand identity •Ensuring that shared services within the organisation are engaged and aligned with vision •Work with technical teams to ensure delivery and implementation goals are achieved •Experience of working with alongside other interaction designers and Visual/Graphic designers •Confidence presenting ideas and influencing stakeholders while protecting the integrity of the brand and UX •Experience of designing for mobile and tablets, especially responsive design principles •Hands on experience of designing for content management systems Essential skills: •Persuasive speaking, presentation and negotiation skills •Adobe creative suite for the creation of web page designs and other digital media •Wireframing and prototyping software such as Axure /Omnigraffle •User testing software such as Morae •Excellent working knowledge of HTML(5), CSS(3), Jscript / JQuery, Ajax, Flash Essential experience: •Currently in either a UX/design consulting role or currently working as an in house expert •Proven record working on industry leading customer orientated design projects •Examples of previous work should be shown •Portfolio of previous designs ideally created using Adobe Photoshop •Experience of scoping out, planning and managing projects •Strong theoretical and practical user centred design skills •Experience of information architecture development and wire framing •Designing and running user testing sessions As the North West's leading Marketing, Analytics, Digital and Creative recruitment agency, we are continually receiving new assignments to work on so keep a close eye on our website, Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter pages for a full list of current opportunities as well as market place news and fun stuff.
