Tech startup in the heart of Edinburgh are seeking a skilled, Lead Server-side Java Developer/Designer with strong Core Java skills to develop a cutting edge data application in Java within an agile team. The team loves what they do, respecting and co-operating with one another, working toward the same goal.
Please note we are looking for strong Core Java skills not J2EE.
Essential skills needed to be considered for the Java Developer/Architect job:
- Awesome Core Java,
- Amazing Software Design,
- Understanding of concurrency/parallelism/multithreading, algorithms, networking.
Nice to have experience of......
- Object Oriented Programming concepts, best Practices and design patterns
- Test Driven Development.
