Senior Graphic Designer

Monday - Friday, 8-5

Temporary (6 weeks)

Job Description:

The Graphics Designer is required to provide desktop publishing and graphic design support.

Coordinate color matching.

Assist Project Manager in coordinating of user interface with development efforts.

Assist in development and design of exhibits, design shows and trades events.

Development of design boards, including layout, theme and selection of materials.

Creation of new designs/patterns for graphics and laminates.

Work with end business users and Helps determine Layout/Design of sites.
Shape and drive the conceptualization, design, and art direction of brand and marketing communications (small to large scope and moderate to high complexity), always keeping in mind the objectives of the assignment and the needs and requirements of the audience.
Apply research, problem-solving, and creative thinking to translate creative briefs into communications solutions through design.
Produce compelling, on-brand ideas and designs.
Ensure that design solutions meet brand standards and requirements (style, structure, tone, etc.) and that verbal and visual expressions work hand in hand.
Provide functional and problem-solving leadership with creative teams and project partners (eg Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing Communications Operations, Multimedia, Internet Services Group, Due Diligence, etc).
Develop client presentations.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information and create on-brand, compelling designs in a variety of communication forms.

Requirements:

6-10 years relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to work fluently in design applications, including Adobe Creative Suite 6.
Ability to work fluently in current office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally, both verbally (one- and two-way communication) and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to see many perspectives; desire to understand other people's passions, experiences, and feelings.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams.
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work; manage projects from brief to delivery.
Demonstrated ability to work on concurrent projects and consistently deliver work on deadline.
Experience with multiple design packages

Consultant must have excellent creative skills with the ability to develop graphic patterns from concept to production.

Strong color matching skills.

Production oriented and deadline driven.

Craftsmanship and flexibility to perform various design functions such as: constructing trend boards, exhibit/special event coordination and assist in corporate communication literature.

Consultant must have organizational skills with regard to all studio functions including project management and maintenance of computer systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
