IPTV design architect

My client is searching for an IPTV design architect to add to their team. This is an urgent requirement- the start date is as soon as possible. The position is a 6 month contract.

The role:

• Create technical designs and documentation.
• Assist in the implementation of the designs.
• Assist with troubleshooting of existing platforms.
• Work with the Design team to ensure the completion of designs.
• Responsible for CAPEX cost model for the IPTV service platform.
• Maintain up to date documentation.

Essential Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience with the end-to-end system design, analysis and integration.
• Experience with set-top box hardware and software.
• Experience with Internet related protocols including TCP/IP, Radius and DNS.
• Multi Vendor network design experience.
• 6+ years with IP Networking and Unix Systems experience.
• 3+ years IPTV experience.
• Experience with CATV.
