Contract long terme The role of the Network Engineer is to
- Follow the procedure in place, adapted to our banking environment
- Follow the guidance and recommendations of the Senior of the team
- Implement LAN services (cabling, port, VLANS, trunking, portchannel) in large environment (hundreds of Switches)
- Implement WAN services (cabling, interface, routing EIGRP/OSPF) in large environment (hundreds of Routers)
- Implement Security policy (Firewall rules, Proxy rules) in customised environment (ASA, Unix,Checkpoint, Bluecoat)
- Troubleshoot the LAN/WAN/Firewall services at Level 2
- Analyse the logs
- Perform IOS upgrade when required (performance and/or compliance issues)
- Document and close all assigned tickets on time
- Be on picket one week per month in average Detailed required skills Networking (required):
* Knowledge of Cisco commands and technology: 2 to 4 years maximum of hands on experience
* Medium to Large Cisco LAN environment: Platform: 35xx, 65xx - Technologies: 802.1Q, LACP, RSTP.
* Medium to Large Cisco WAN environment: Platform: 8xx, 28xx, 38xx, 72xx - Technologies: EIGRP, OSPF. Security (required):
* knowledge of Cisco commands and technology: 2 to 4 years maximum of hands on experience
* Firewalling: Platform: Cisco ASA in multiple context
* Proxy: Platform: Websense, Bluecoat
