Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who has experience working on large scale projects.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Strong estimating skills including all required resources to successfully deliver the project.
- Deliver quality solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule including scope management.
- Manage and lead teams which may include Project Managers, business analysts, technical specialists and applications programmers.
- Identify and mitigate issues and risks.
- Provide overall management of internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere to project methodology, processes, documentation & reporting guidelines.
- Build a cohesive team and manage tasks and resources throughout the project life cycle.
To be successful for this role, you will have the following skills:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline
- Prince 2 or PMBOK
- Previous experience working on successful large scale project delivery within a Business Transformation and change space.
- Strong vendor management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Knowledge and proven experience in Project Management Methodologies and Project Lifecycle.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering multiple projects
- Proven experience in project control - strong budget, schedule, stakeholder, people, scope and change management skills
- Successful track record with managing, tracking, reporting and delivering of successful quality IT projects
