Configuration Manager Assistant (ICT)/6 months/Ghent, Belgium
For my client I'm seeking for a Configuration Manager Assistant Within ICT Service Integration (Asset & Configuration Management). In this role as a Configuration Manager Assistant you will be responsible for monitoring, surveillance and escalation around the configuration management process, in order to ensure a smooth and efficient completion of these activities and in close collaboration with other ICT services.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Keep up-to -date inventory of licenses, all movements (orders, renewals) to keep track of where high quality is pursued.
- Measuring the consumption of licenses in a systematic and periodic process.
- The measured consumption places in front of the rights and anomalies (terkorten, too) report.
- You maintain the CMDB and ensures that all CIs herein (automatic/manual) registered, as well as changes to CIs.
- Monitor the functional mailbox .
- Coaching the participants in the process.
- Organize the management and monitoring external EOS - service within this process, in which your performance (KPIs) and to implement necessary adjustments.
- Carry out systematic quality checks on the CMDB
Required skills
- Good knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint,)
- Familiarity with IT terminology
- Knowledge of ITIL and/or process-based work is required
- Experience with BMC Service Desk Express is a plus
