Software Build and Configuration Manager
Software Build and Configuration Manager required for software build management activities, software configuration management and release management activities. In addition we expect you to maintain and extend the automated test framework infrastructure.
Tasks:
- Take charge of software configuration, version control and release management
- Master the established software configuration management infrastructure.
- Master the established software build management infrastructure based on the automated test framework.
- Assist in executing automated regression tests.
- Support the software development team in their daily work regarding configuration management: versioning, branching, problem reporting, etc.
- Responsible for generation and management of test builds for test platforms
- Organize trainings sessions on build and configuration management for new team members.
- Document the established procedures.
- Organize and coordinate the software release activities.
- Oversee ongoing maintenance of software, scripts, and release transitions
- Interact with the various software subsystem teams.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in ICT or equivalent by experience.
- At least three years' experience in a similar role:
- Software configuration management tooling (preferably Rational/Telelogic Synergy or others like Clearcase, Subversion, GIT, etc.)
- Software Change management tooling (preferably Rational Change or other comparable tools)
- Software automated test and build frameworks (preferable Philips Softfab or other comparable products)
- Strong Linux administrator skills
- Strong Windows administrator skills
- Scripting languages like Python and Perl
- SQL
- Passion for new technologies
- Attention to detail
- Preferably familiar with
- Virtualization Tools (VMware, Virtual box or similar)
- Software testing, tooling and best practices
- Regulated safety critical development environment, preferable medical or IVD
- Visual Basic, C#, .NET programming
- Installshield
- Make, Ant
- Network management
