Description
Next Ventures are urgently searching for an Oracle Applications DBA, this is for an initial 3 month contract opportunity with a very likely extension.
The successful consultant will have the following experience and expertise:
- 8-10 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA
- Strong experience working with oracle application R12 and 11i
- Strong experience in oracle 9i/10g RAC/non-RAC DB installation, configuration and support
- Knowledge about core database concepts for example wait events', performance tuning and administration
- Patching oracle applications and databases
- Experience in cloning Oracle eBusiness Suite databases
- Experience in E-business suite Single sign-on implementation
- Experience in oracle Application Server 10g
- Should be proficient in Unix, Shell or Perl Scripting
- Strong experience in oracle 10g Data guard configuration and failover concept
Mandatory
- Strong troubleshooting skills for oracle application 11i/12 and database
- Provide 24*7 on-call support as and when needed
