Description
Infrastructure Engineer with Juniper is required for a leading global professional services company in central London.
As Infrastructure Engineer you will be performing maintenance, monitoring, installation, resolution tasks, implementing change as well as contributing to the operational procedures and availability management/disaster recovery process.
As Infrastructure Engineer you will be required to be proven in the following technical areas:
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and associated protocols.
- Knowledge of network devices and associated protocols. Specifically Juniper.
- Knowledge of layer 2 network protocols, specifically routing protocols.
- Knowledge of telecommunications systems and protocols including unified communications technologies.
Knowledge of the following technologies is advantageous BUT NOT essential:
NetScaler, Windows server operating environments, Active Directory and Group Policy, load balancing technologies, video conference systems, Knowledge of unified communications systems, web infrastructure, (such as network proxies and caching)
Any of the following qualifications are preferred: ITIL, MCSA, MCSE, MCP, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP
Previous experience within a professional services environment is desirable, ie; Law/legal, Banking, Financial Services, Accountancy, Consultancy etc
