I am currently recruiting for an Interim QA Technician to join a leading International Food Manufacturing company in the Nottinghamshire area for an initial four month contract. The type of produce that you will be working with would be soups, sauces and dressings so experience in this area will be preferable.JOB PURPOSE
To assist in the quality and safe control of the process stages of manufacture
Your Responsibilities will include :
- Microbiological - routine swabs, monitoring, problem solving and carrying out investigations
- Audits - GMP, foreign body, CCP points of processes, structure
- reporting non conformances and verifying corrective action has been taken and is effective
- auditing manufacturing areas for risks
- auditing traceability paperwork
- Calibration / Verification - verifying factory scales, probes and procedures
- Monitoring
- Paperwork
- Preparing products and samples for taste panels and micro testing
Must Haves:
- Experience of working within Quality Assurance
- Clear, concise and accurate reporting
- Ability to inspect objectively
- Motivated by maintaining quality standards
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of QA systems is preferable but not essential
- Flexibility is essential as QA Technicians need to work alongside the variable production workload
