Description
As the Engineering Co-ordinator….You'll be responsible for coordinating pre-delivery design and detailed engineering by co-ordinating the engineering activities across multiple departments in conjunction with Dept Managers to deliver collective solutions.
You'll assess engineering documentation, feasibility and compliance with client and IEC requirements and support the preparation of accurate budgets and resource forecasts.
You'll Co-ordinate technical assessment of tender submissions and report recommendations to the Engineering Manager and/or clients.
You'll co-ordinate engineering designs, equipment and construction specifications in accordance with current legislation, policies and operational requirements to provide end to end integrated solutions.
You'll support the development of engineering solutions & documentation for input to System Construction Authorisation (SCA), Project Technical Specifications and BETTA documentation.

You'll be educated to degree/equivalent level in an engineering discipline and will ideally have a proven significant experience coordinating collective engineering solutions in a multi-disciplinary environment within the Transmission Network sector.
You'll have the ability to plan and engineer conflicting requirements and meet challenging deadlines for a portfolio of projects and to influence project teams to deliver planned and ad-hoc collective engineering solutions on-time to mitigate program slippage
