Due to a period of sustained growth and success, my client has an excellent opportunity for a facilities manager to support their Wisconsin locations. This individual will be responsible for providing facilities engineering and management services to all Wisconsin sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage development, application and oversight of relevant code conformance, engineering and design specifications, permits, procurement, performance specifications, and project management for: construction projects, leasehold tenant improvement projects, and facility systems infrastructure projects (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Author test plans/reports and protocols for the testing, validation, and qualification of equipment (IQ/OQ).
  • Generate effective test reports while being able to maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the process in order to comply with company and government standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration with internal risk management, HSE, and 3rd party property insurers as it relates to the resolution of field engineering recommendations.
  • May direct facilities management of local contractors including facility and infrastructure systems predictive and preventative maintenance, building and grounds maintenance, housekeeping, internal mail and related services.
  • Site due diligence support primarily related to conducting and summarizing facility and infrastructure condition reports.
  • This person must have a strong mix of capability as it relates to project execution along with capability for how to develop processes that provide long term sustainability to the function.
  • Must have the technical skills to perform engineering analysis and design of various mechanical/electrical systems in a building (HVAC, process ventilation, electrical distribution, compressed air, gas and steam distribution), and at a minimum have working knowledge in construction principles and management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement lean principles.
  • Must demonstrate a high capacity for daily management and organization of work activities. Strong evidence of a system for PDSA cycles built into daily activities.


Education and/or Experience (years):
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with building expansion, project planning, and facilities engineering would be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5 years facilities experience in a manufacturing type environment; with a solid background in cleanroom applications is desirable.
  • Background in a medical device, ISO, or other quality system
