Type: 6 Month Contract initiallyRate: £ per dayLocation: CreweStart Date: ASAP Job Description:You will join their Infrastructure team and be responsible for designing infrastructure strategy, road maps and solutions. This contract will give you ownership of the Infrastructure Strategy, and you must have experience of working alongside outsourced suppliers to deliver their infrastructure solution. As a lead architect you will work directly with the programme heads within the division to create and maintain the infrastructure road map from the current state to the design state. This is a fantatic opportunity as you will be creating the target infrastructure architecture and setting a strategy for achieving it. Essential Requirements:- Infrastructure Architecture Experience, ideally from a manufacturing background however this is not essential- Experience at enterprise level is essential and you must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage key senior stakeholders- Expert Infrastructure background- Proven experience working with 3rd party suppliers and outsourced vendors. - Experience with cloud based infrastructure- Experience of designing long term architecture strategy and road maps and experience with server computing, networks/telephony, virtualisation, VDI. Other comments:- The succesful candidate must be a great communicator, be able to converse with all types of people, and articulate ideas, concepts and concerns.- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.- You must also be organised and motivated.
