Due to continued growth in the market, my client now has a need for an provide maintenance engineering solutions and management services to all Wisconsin sites.Essential Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, monitor, refine an asset maintenance plan that includes the following:
- Value- added preventative maintenance tasks
- Effective utilization of predictive and other non-destructive testing methods designed to identify and isolate reliability issues in equipment
- Standardize on a single PM format for all manufacturing site
- Modify documents as needed to ensure PM program is current with demand
- Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system
- Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems affecting manufacturing operations utilizing root cause analysis tools
- Develop and maintain a visual reporting system used to report the following:
- Equipment failures
- Analysis performed
- Corrective action performed
- Change and effect analysis
- PM modification reports
- PM schedule
- Assist in the development and analysis of assets including:
- Asset utilization
- Overall equipment effectiveness
- Life cycle (remaining useful life of asset)
- Provide day-to-day work direction and leadership for the maintenance staff.
- Provide technical support (troubleshooting, investigation, detailed instructions/reports, etc.) to production, management, and other technical personnel.
- Lead investigational/troubleshooting activities as related to equipment issues.
- Collaborate with internal risk management, HE&S, and 3rd party vendors as it relates to the resolution of field engineering recommendations.
- Author test plans/reports and protocols for the testing, validation, and qualification of equipment (IQ/OQ).
- Document maintenance records including changes and updates for the Maintenance Department files.
Education and/or Experience:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Extensive hands-on experience with maintenance including root cause analysis, and maintenance scheduling.
- Minimum of 10 years maintenance/equipment engineering experience in a manufacturing type environment.
- Prefer a background in a medical device, ISO, or other quality system environment including clean room experience.
