SQL Database administrator - South Yorkshire - 12 month contractA SQL Database administrator is required by a large NHS trust to assist in the design and development of replacement databases utilising industry standard technologies and methodologies. This role has arisen due to the expansion of the team as they plan to undertake a number of projects in the New Year.
SQL Database administrator role
You will be the most technical team member responsible for all areas of the SQL server environment including ongoing improvement of the existing databases, identifying potential issues and implementing performance tuning.
This is an exciting project for a SQL DBA with the migration of a PAS / EPR system and DTS / SSIS being the primary focus points.
Type: 12 month contract
Rate: £200 to £250 per day - DOE
Location: South Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Experience
Previous NHS data set experience
Install, configure and maintain SQL Server databases
Use of TSQL SSIS, DTS, SSRS, log shipping and replication
Experience of designing cubes using analysis services
TSQL, VB for BI
