Our client, a large government department is looking for .NET Developers to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance and implement components of the web application using Appian (business process management platform) and building .NET web services.
  • Part of a SCRUM team of developers and a tester (total 3) and business analyst/s building web forms, workflows, dashboards, business rules and reporting in an agile software development environment
  • Regularly demonstrate component prototypes to business analysts and clients to clarify requirements and gain user acceptance of finished products
  • Initiate, develop and implement enhancements to software development processes, standards, templates and systems
  • problem-solve issues, identify alternatives and implementing agreed solutions
  • Ensure compliance to standards relating to Internet design, development, usability and accessibility
  • Document designs and as-built solutions to enable efficient support of the solution

Key skills required

  • Proven experience in the design and development of enterprise, business process driven, web applications using technologies including C# .NET, Java and web services
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with business representatives, business analysts and testers in an agile software development environment with tight timeframes and a reasonable degree of uncertainty.
  • Experience implementing software development patterns, templates and standards in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative, innovative solutions to complex problems within defined technology and time constraints.
  • High level of drive, flexibility and commitment to achieve team goals in a highly productive way
