The Workflow Integration Test (WIT) Lead for Health Plan Test Services at client is responsible for leading a team of regional and application testers. This includes the implementation of testing procedures; the collaboration of test plans, test strategy, cases and scripts to support testing objectives; and the implementation of quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards and tools. Position will lead testing of interfaces in/out of the Tapestry AP Claims system.
This position will also monitor, coordinate and report on Performance Testing that is being done by a partner organization.
Essential Functions:
Supervise all quality assurance testing work activities for WIT in the regions, as needed
Interface with regional and national groups to complete work assignments
Provides project teams resource estimates and schedules for QA and testing activities; accountable for time and resource estimates for projects
Monitors progress of national and regional resources being used for WIT
Contributes to creation of test plans, test cases, and scripts for most complex applications and ensures they support testing objectives
Ensures tests are executed and analyzed properly
Supervises test case development, documentation and execution of tests
Ensures any unresolved problems or issues are properly documented, escalated and monitored
Tracks problems identified during testing activities
Reviews testing documentation deliverables
Identifies, documents, and communicates issues and risks
Provides support to the Defect Manager to ensure defects are documented, reported and managed appropriately
Ensures that the appropriate participants are identified and meetings are conducted or conducts meetings to ensure testing process is properly executed
Conducts and participates in team meetings to ensure information is communicated across the team
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience
A minimum of 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing
Hands-on experience with design, development, and implementation of testing procedures; creation of test plans, test cases and scripts to support testing objectives
Experience with implementation of quality assurance and testing methodologies, processes, standards, and tools
Preferred Experience:
Excellent analytical skills with the proven ability to solve problems both in verbal and written communications
Must be able to work cooperatively as part of a large or small local and remote testing team
Excellent organization and planning skills; must be able to adjust priorities with changing needs of the project
Experience with HP Quality Center, Microsoft Office, Toad, SQL, Claims Application knowledge a plus
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience
Skills to be successful in this role:
Must work well independently with limited direction, be a quick learner with excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with any Kaiser applications is a big-plus
Travel Required:
Travel may be required to regional sites as needed up to 25% overall
