Performs user acceptance testing of benefit systems, contract systems and dependent systems. Performs systems and/or programming and quality assurance activities. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
- Minimum of 3 years experience in direct software testing in technologically diverse, complex environments 
- In depth knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies. 
- Experience working in IT systems related to Health Care (insurance and medical) industry preferred. 
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written. 

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS: 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis and reporting tools, eg MS Access, DB2, etc. 
- Solid understanding of databases and data warehousing. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Regional user testing activities on Benefit Enhancement Tracking System (BETS) for fixes, new releases, enhancements, and interfaces. Coordinate national and regional CMSBD and MABA user testing for all release schedules: CM, BETS, HealthConnect, Xcelys and benefit interfaces. Coordinate testing across system environments. 
- Testing source-matter expert for BETS, Common Membership and HealthConnect. 
- Coordinates testing with Regional Information Technology (RIT), National Benefit Administration, National IT, and other regional and national business departments as necessary. 
- Provides technical guidance/direction/training to team members. Communicates and coordinates test efforts among various team members. 
- Analyzes system changes to determine and document impact to region and associated testing needs. Working with developers, test team members and business source-matter experts to design test scenarios and test cases based on requirements and design. 
- Creates, maintains and updates test plans, test schedule, test cases, and test data that adequately represent
