Chase Resourcing’s client, a multinational financial house is undertaking a project to replace their existing Payments system used throughout EMEA and NA with a new Payment Services solution. To facilitate this rollout, and future testing, candidates with the following skills/knowledge are sought:
Position Responsibilities/Duties:
As an Oracle Apps Reports Developer on the Apps Development Reporting team, candidate will be required to analyse business and technical requirements, leverage technical knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite (GL, AP, and HR), and to develop appropriate reporting solutions according to user requirements. The Oracle Apps Reports Developer will be responsible for new development, ongoing maintenance, and Production support for reporting solutions using Oracle development tools such as Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Reports, and XML BI Publisher. Candidate will build and maintain Oracle XML BI Publisher Reports for Oracle Release 12. The candidate will be responsible for migrating existing Discoverer reports from Oracle Applications Release 11 to Release 12. The Oracle Apps Reports Developer will also assist the Apps Development Reporting team with the migration of applications reports from Discoverer to Cognos BI, and provide ongoing maintenance for the Oracle Applications reports on Cognos BI.
Candidate will adhere to established processes and standards for development, documentation, change management, and testing.
- Minimum of 3-5 years hands-on experience developing Oracle Applications reports (Discoverer, XML Publisher)
- Must have experience using SQL to query and analyse data in Oracle Database
- Experience with NoetixViews for Oracle Applications would be a plus
- Experience with Cognos BI Reporting application would be a plus
- Technical knowledge of the Oracle GL, AP, and HR modules of the e-Business Suite would be a plus
- Must have experience working directly with users to analyse and develop business/technical requirements
- Must have experience troubleshooting Production reporting issues
