Chase Resourcing’s client, a multinational financial house is undertaking a project to replace their existing Payments system used throughout EMEA and NA with a new Payment Services solution. To facilitate this rollout, and future testing, candidates with the following skills/knowledge are sought:

Position Responsibilities/Duties:

JRI America requires strong, self-motivated and experienced Oracle professionals to assist in the upgrading and maintenance of Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) Release 11 and 12 environments. Candidates should have a strong background in EBS administration and be able to demonstrate an interest in a variety of database technologies and desire to grow and develop their career.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oracle EBS R11 and R12 administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning on Linux SUSE and RedHat platforms
  • Oracle database administration and configuration
  • Load balancing and performance tuning
  • RMAN backup and recovery
  • Database sizing and space management
  • PL/SQL and shell programming
  • Diagnostics or Oracle 10g and 1g database on AIX and Linux platforms

Experience & Knowledge Requirements:

  • Understanding of Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g concepts, theories, principles and best practice with 3 or more years in a similar environment
  • Strong experience with installing, upgrading and supporting Oracle EBS R11 and R12 environments
  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Real Application Clusters and exposure to Oracle Enterprize Manager Grid Control
  • Experience supporting Oracle e-Business Suite 11i and Oracle Discoverer technology is a plus
  • Oracle 9i and 10g experience on AIX, SUSE and RedHat Linux and Windows platforms is a plus
  • Strong PL/SQL knowledge and experience troubleshooting and tuning code
  • Knowledge of application database privacy practices and laws
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and good written and oral communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work on-call hours
