Windows 2nd Line Support - Insurance - London - 35 - 40k

Windows 2nd Line Support Technician is required for a leading Insurance Company based in central London.

Person Profile:
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences


Key Responsibility:
  • BAU 2nd line support role
  • Escalations
  • Recommend changes
  • Proactively maintain competence
  • Provide day-to-day support on the IT service desk, ensuring phone calls and tickets are managed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management networks
  • Provide end to end troubleshooting and call ownership whilst following define escalation paths through to resolution
  • Supporting other technicians when required


Required Skills & Experience
  • · Past experience in working within a 2nd line support role
  • · Experience working with different types of technologies
  • · Must have SCCM experience and basic experience in SCOM
  • · Past customer service experience
  • · Desktop Support experience
  • · Proactively recommended changes to architecture and processes within the ITS Management team
  • · Must be a expert in Windows based products
  • · Remote + Local User Support
  • · Troubleshooting & problem solving skills
  • · Ensure quality and services standards are maintained
