Senior Interactive Designer (remote work possible)

Description

Flavor is seeking a Senior Interactive Designer to help drive the creative process from idea to concept, from production to launch, ensuring a level of consistency and quality of design thinking throughout. With a solid understanding and passion for design, typography, color, motion and interaction, the candidate will inspire our design team to see opportunity in every challenge and deliver solutions that make the complex simple.

Responsibilities

Creating design concepts for digital products including mobile, web and display

Bring a unique point of view and be able to articulate and defend conceptual and directional choices

Work with both the internal team and client throughout the project. From strategy to conception, through design and production

Overseeing design implementation

Produce motion studies or prototypes to communicate executional details to guide development

Develop digital style guides and specs

Requirements

4+ years of interactive focused experience in an agency environment or freelance

An outstanding online portfolio showcasing innovative concepts and creative design solutions

Extensive understanding of current design trends and digital design principles (for web and mobile)

Able to generate multiple design directions within tight time constraints

A conceptual thinker and master of user experience

Prior experience leading projects, managing clients, working in and leading teams

Expert knowledge of the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects)

Experience with 3D and compositing software is a plus

In-depth understanding of development principles, technologies and practices

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with remote teams

Written and spoken English preferred
