Skills:
- Software architecture, design and development (data processing applications, reports, front ends, databases, other programs)
- Programming languages: C#
- Databases: MS SQL programming
- Knowledge of: WinForms, WCF, WF (advantage), XML, ODBC, ADO.NET, Entity framework, Multi-threading, Multi-tier.
- Source control: Source Safe, team foundation server
- Operating systems: MS Windows platform
- UML
- Very good analytical and mathematical skills
Desirable - WinForms, WCF, WF (advantage), XML, ODBC, ADO.NET, Entity framework, Multi-threading, Multi-tier.
Also desirable, although not essential is ITIL qualification (demonstrable experience of ITIL experience would be required as a minimum).
Responsibilities
Provide software testing expertise and software testing documentation for all supported software systems. Liaise closely with the development and project management teams to design effective test cases and evaluate and test new and modified software
- Execution of test scripts/test scenarios and defect tracking and resolution
- Broad knowledge of IT Systems with proficiency in software testing
- Education and qualification:
Must - Degree in IT/Software, Mathematic
