NHS Physiotherapist - Band 6 or Band 5 - Acute Stroke and Neurological Rehabilitation - Full Time - 3-4 months - North West: LancashireReal Staffing are looking for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to specialise in the area of acute stroke, neurology and stroke rehab, for a full time 3-4 month locum contract, with a large NHS Foundation Trust in the North West of England. This role is ideal for any physiotherapist wanting to excell in the field of neurology and would be an accolade to have moving forward.
We are looking for locums with experience in the following areas:
- Neurology acute
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Caseloads 18yrs - elderly
The locum role is to start asap (December 2013) and is for 3-4 months depending on the demands experienced by the Service as a result of Winter pressures. You will be part of an experienced Physiotherapy team based in an acute residential hospital. Anyone looking to pursue this opportunity must be able to work autonomously and be completely competent and independent within the field of neurology and stroke.
Suitable applicants must have the following criteria:
- Band 6 or Band 5 NHS experience
- Experience in neurology, brain injury, stroke rehab
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- HPC registered
- CRB checked (clean)
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Car driver with own car
- Occupational Health Checks
- Mandatory Training
