Executive Search Consultant/Recruiter - NYC - Entry Level

Our New York office, due to unprecedented growth, is in search of highly ambitious individuals with aspirations to succeed in sales and business. We plan to grow from 150 to 500 staff by 2017 so are looking for people who want to progress their careers rapidly up to Manager and Director level in the future.

We require highly focused graduates and/or sales professionals looking for a refreshing new career in Executive Search Consultancy.

As an Executive Search Consultant in our New York office, you'll be responsible for recruiting your own vertical market with a focus on high-end staffing solutions within the very lucrative IT Banking & Finance or Pharmaceutical sector.

For success in this role you'll ideally be a college graduate and have genuine long-term career goals that match our ambition for success. Successful Consultants bring a positive attitude to the job whilst conducting business in a professional and consultative fashion.

The role involves:

-Prospecting clients to build and maintain business relationships

-Building rapport and trust
-Writing ads
-Searching our database for candidates
-Preparing both candidates and clients for interviews
-Negotiating
-Closing the deal

Having completed your training portfolio, you'll continue to build your business area and strengthen the relationships built. You'll set your own goals and have a detailed knowledge of the area you work in. In your first year alone you can expect to earn around $80K, and this will increase year on year. Your base salary will start at $40K.
