My client, a market leading Medical Device Manufacturer, based in the Twin Cities, now has a fantastic opportunity for a Manufacturing Process Engineer.Over the past few years, my client has enjoyed a huge period of success and growth and is currently looking to add strength to its manufacturing capabilities by hiring a strong Manufacturing Process Engineer. This is a 6 month contract opportunity paying between $35 and $50 per hour dependant on experience.
The role will be wide ranging in its scope, encompassing the following responsibilities:
- Determine manufacturing operation requirements and process parameters
- Develop advanced manufacturing systems and processes
- Develop plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability
- Improve manufacturing methods to optimize product performance
- Participate in procedure writing and review
- Perform process and equipment validations
- Ensure compliance with GMP's
- Generate documentation for engineering protocols and reports
Candidates for this opportunity must have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent minimum five (5) years proven experience in development of automated systems(automation or manufacturing engineer)
- Looking for someone that is especially hands on and can execute experiments on the manufacturing line
- Preferred experience in: feasibility assessments, creating solutions for process challenges, support of prototype build, verification of measurement systems, development of tooling and fixturing, specification of assembly equipment, characterization and qualification of processes to ensure critical outputs
