A nationally recognized, well-established blue chip organisation are expanding their ever growing Security team.This role is best suited to someone who has a strong experience in IT Security, with supporting breadth of understanding across IT architecture, and who is looking for an advisory and strategic role
Location: Liverpool
Rate: £ per day
The role with include;
- This hand's on role involves firewall management (review of firewalls, routers & other network devices.
- Firewall design implementation and maintenance / communication and assisting the network architects with firewall design and implementation
- Working with a team of security/compliance specialists as a technical lead.
- Online-fraud investigations & research
- Team monitoring reports.
- Internet & Email filtering and content policy
- Incident Investigation with full forensics
- Creation and review of information security policies
- Provide documentation of security processes and guidelines
- Providing input into all areas of information security
- Working with management heads to develop plans to eradicate and eliminate threats
- Performing risk management processes and defining health checks
- Projects covering security standards and security policies (ISO27001, PCI DSS etc)
The ideal candidate will have;
- Knowledge of technical security architectural principles, and able to analyse complex projects to provide technical recommendations.
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation affecting security, privacy and systems assurance and standards such as PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001
- Experience of security architecture of web applications within an e-commerce environment.
- In depth knowledge of a broad spectrum of security technologies, incorporating network, operating system and application security.
