Description
Create test plans, test cases and other Software Test documents based on requirements and specifications. Perform hands-on testing of Embedded software. Automate test cases and processes using Scripting languages. Work closely with developers, Engineers (ME, EE, Optics, Fluidics, etc.) to understand the feature in depth. File and track bugs through resolution. Design and perform software testing activities. Interact with stakeholders to gather requirements. Manage specifications using the industry approved tools.SKILLS:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's, Computer Engineering/Computer Science or Equivalent
SPECIAL SKILLS NEEDED
- 8-10+ years experience. Must have experience in a medical device setting.
- At least 5 years testing Embedded software, preferably device drivers.
- Understanding of and experience with AGILE software development processes
- Understanding of and experience with SQA methodologies, techniques and approaches.
- A basic knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- A basic knowledge of Controller Area Network (CAN) communications.
- Experience with issue/bug tracking tools, project team collaboration, and project management tools
- Excellent analytical, and verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
- Work well with in a team environment.
DESIRED SKILL SET:
- Good knowledge of electrical and electronic controls, components, and troubleshooting.
- Some script language knowledge preferred
- Experience with QNX, ARM, DDC preferred
