Oracle OPM Functional Analyst
Pittsburgh, PA
1 year+ contract

This position resides within the Business Processes' Record to Report (R2R) application support area. The Oracle E-business Suite Functional Analyst will be responsible for providing functional business process support to end-users for the Oracle E-business Suite (E-business) R12 Financial modules.

These modules include:

  • Process Manufacturing Financials
  • Process Manufacturing Execution

Major responsibilities:

  • Writing and interpreting functional design documents for Oracle add-ons and extensions
  • Gathering customer requirements and issues and working with technical developers, DBAs and Oracle Support to meet these requirements and resolve issues
  • Performing application configuration set-ups
  • Performing thorough testing of application changes and adhering to standards and practices that meet Quality Management and ISO standards

Years of Work Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of two years of proven experience with Oracle E-business Suite Financial modules
  • Must show competence in both personal and technical skill (below) during an on-site or video interview.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Expertise in Oracle Process Manufacturing
  • Strong experience entering, monitoring, and resolving Oracle SRs
  • Proven skills writing SQL queries against Oracle E-business tables

Non-Technical Skills Required:

  • Ability to develop comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases and perform unit and comprehensive testing with system developers to ensure overall functionality and technical quality of deliverables
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and problems, monitor progress against plan, and communicate status to Leads
  • Verbal and written communication skills to work with R2R team and the E-business R2R users to define requirements, manage expectations, and analyze issues
  • Ability to ensure requirements for changes follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for change control
