Below is a summary of the position.

Job Title: Service Continuity Management Analyst

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 01 Year Contract

Contract Type: W2 or C2C

Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:

The position supports the Service Continuity Management (SCM) team as it helps insure that IT is prepared to respond and maintain IT service continuity in case of a major event or disaster that interrupts IT service.

Activities include:

Coordination of all Infrastructure Testing

Developing and Maintaining the Testing Schedule

Coordinating the preliminary activities for each test - schedule and conduct planning meetings, creation of preliminary test plan, etc.

Coordinating the actual test.

Gathering the test information from the test participants and creating the final test reports.

Working with the test participants to address any issue that came from the test - including recording and maintaining the SCM Open Issue List.

Metrics and reporting:

Ensuring that metrics are captured as needed (typically monthly).

Creating and distributing monthly reports as identified in the SCM process.

Tracking and reporting on the SCM Open Testing Items list.

Refreshing and establishing the metrics scorecards at year end.

Tool Administration:

Define and administer security within the LDRPS tool.

Updating recovery Plans within the LDRPS tool.

troubleshooting and primary contact with vendors and hosing teams for any issues with our tools.

Required Qualifications:

Highly organized with good written and oral communication skills.

Ability to create, present and explain SCM reports to various diverse audiences.

Broad fundamental understanding of IT and specifically the Service Continuity Management process

Customer focused.

Ability to work independently with internal personnel, customers & support staff.

Strong analytical skills.

Good working knowledge of 2010 Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Outlook, One-Note, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL, Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity Management certification.

Experience with Sungard's LDRPS tool.
