For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:
eCommerce Graphic Designer (60%)
to support our client's UX department for their web and mobile (mobile site, iOS, Android) platforms.
You will:
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
- Enhance department presentation and demo sites
- Design new pages to support communications based on a brief from the Project Manager
- Define the graphical tendencies for the client's E-commerce and mobile applications.
- Create icons and logos
- Create a master Photoshop template to ease localization
- Benchmark existing websites to support design or ergonomic decisions
Candidates must be able to demonstrate, via a CV and portfolio of work, the following skills and experience:
- Excellent graphical skills, c reative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
- Ability to work in a guided environment (brand guidelines, existing assets)
- Ability to work on big concepts and also small tactical enhancements
- Confidence, to present and explain ideas to colleagues
- 5 years' experience in web design, including design for eCommerce websites
- Experience of mobile design
- Knowledge of User Experience/Usability
- Extensive Adobe Suite Experience (especially Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and InDesign)
- HTML5 and CSS3 knowledge
- Fluent English, French would be an advantage
This is a part time (60%) contract position with an international client, located in Lausanne, for 1 year in the first instance. Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
