Description
Location: Canary WhalfA Leading Retail Bank requires a strong 'C' programming developer to update, enhance and maintain a critical part of its system.
This role will require strong team leadership coupled with a hands-on approach to software engineering; agile software development is essential.
Exposure to the following tech would be beneficial:
**MUST HAVE RECENT 'C' PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE**
Proficiency in Unix and scripting in KSH/BASH and PERL
Excellent knowledge of SQL
Good knowledge of relational databases, particularly DB2
Good knowledge of OpenSSL and/or CCA
Good knowledge of agil development practises such as Scrum and TDD/BDD
Considerable exposeure to platform-level development
Contract: 12 Months
Rate: £450-£550p/day
Start: asap.
