Would you like to work for one of the world leaders in Construction and Building Materials?Due to a recent opening in Norway my client is now looking to recruit a Production Manager for one of there quarry's in this area.
Role:
To plan and manage production operations and perform the role of Health & Safety co-ordinator.
Ensure all activities under operational control are managed with due regard to health,safety,environmental,quality standards and legislation.
Ensure control of budgetary responsibility is achieved and initiatives are proposed for efficiency savings.
To work with the local management team to achieve business and corporate objectives and targets.
Managing staff mater's.
Inventory management to meet sales plan and company cash targets.
Ensuring that the agreed Quarry design is implemented.
Managing all drilling and blasting activities in line with approved designs and legislation.
Experienced Required:
Ideally be a member of the Institute of Quarrying
Experience as a Qualified Explosives Supervisor would be beneficial
Proven experience as a Production Manager within a Quarry
Appropriate Geo-technical qualification
Experience in a large extractive and processing operation within a Management role.
